TPO страх. только ответственность перед третьими лицами*, только в пользу третьей стороны* (выражении используется в автомобильном страховании для указания на разновидность полиса автомобильного страхования, который предусматривает только покрытие выплаты компенсаций за материальный ущерб и телесные повреждения, нанесенные третьим лицам в результате дорожно-транспортного происшествия; т. е. это полис, включающий только страхование автогражданской ответственности и не предусматривающий возмещение застрахованному водителю расходов на его собственное лечение и расходов на восстановление его автомобиля, а также не предусматривающий выплату возмещения в случае угона автомобиля)
